The purpose of this blog is also to show you some of my own work on occasion. I spent two amazing weeks at a summer jewellery school at Holbæk Kunsthøjskole this summer – our teacher was Josephine Winther (see previous blog). I made these rings during my stay. They are cast in Sterling Silver.
RieraGassó is a compay dedicated to craftmanship in precious metals and industrial design. We create, produce and distribute from Barcelona.
The company was founded in August 1999 by Miguel Gassó – experienced goldsmith in jewelry and industrial design – and Montse Riera – wide-experienced gemmologist in the different fields of jewelry.
Mette Saabye is a Danish jeweller who lives and work in Copenhagen. You can visit her website or her shop in Studiestræde 25B,
1455 Copenhagen K – it is a beautiful little shop full of her magnificent jewellery.
Josephine Winther is a Danish Goldsmith and she was my teacher when I attended my first jewellery course at Holdbæk Kunsthøjskole (The Art Folk High School in Holbæk). You can read more about the jewellery course (Danish only). It was two weeks during the summer 2004 – a great experience.

The blog 18kt that I find very inspiring showed these pieces of fascinating jewellery – they seems almost alive. They are by Darcy Miro and you have to visit the website site to see all the pieces of art – both jewellery and installations. Darcy Miro lives and work in New York City.

Bring nature with you – wau… it is beautiful. Jewellery by Hafsteinn Juliusson from Island. He says about his jewellery:
